Emu Bootscompany came into being in 1994,and they are relatively young in comparison to Uggs.
During the 1970′s,Emu bootscompany was originally supplying the tanned sheepskin to surfers on Australia’s surf coast. The company soon realized that if they want to get involved in a much greater market, they must be able to improve both the quality and the performance of the basicsheepskin boots for surfers to wear.
Then during the 1980′s ,the parent company of Emu Boots , Jacksons ,go into partnership with  Brian Smith who was a surfer from Australia .But because Brian Smith lived in Los Angeles ,they begin to supply sheepskin boots in the USA. These are supplied under the brand name Ugg. However, in 1993UGG Australia is sold to Deckers. As a result, in 1994 Jacksons decide to distribute their own brand of boots under the brand name Emu.
Emu boots are extremely comfortable .On the one hand the lining of them are made from 100 percent Australian Merino Wool ,and of course they do not incorporate other wool blends. On the other hand, the wool is knitted into a cotton fabric using 30mm lengths of wool before being inserted into the boots. However, large number of their competitors use scraping and what’s worse, the off cuts from this process are reused to provide the lining in their boots.
Unlike other styles boots, the material used in Emu boots is very effect and it manages to wick away 70% of the moisture produced by your feet so that it will not end up with smelly feet.
Another advantage of Emu boots over some of the other brands is that they are able to maintain an even body temperature in you all the year round. hat is to say, during the summer your feet will stay cool and feel warm and cozy in the winter.
Emu boots are still solely produced in Australia, and you will also find that these boots are relatively cheap.
